However, while the breakfast was good, I felt the variety could be improved. Overall, it's a great spot for families or a short getaway.

So, I checked in and was given a room that hadn’t even been cleaned yet. Like, seriously? Finally got a clean room, but it was all the way at the end, which is a trek. The clean towels were on a bar that was falling off the wall. Continental breakfast was decent, but man, the place needs a deep clean.

The queen room with two beds was spacious and comfortable. It had air conditioning, a private bathroom with free toiletries, a telephone, and an alarm clock. The pool was well-maintained, and we loved the cozy hot tub. The location was perfect for our adventures around Escondido. Plus, the breakfast had freshly baked pastries.

I had a wonderful stay where the friendly staff made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room I stayed in was spacious and stylish, complete with all the amenities. I particularly loved the freshly brewed coffee available in the morning and the well-maintained pool area. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi connection was a bit spotty at times.
